tutorial tuesday

Yep!  It’s about that time!  Time for the little ones…and the big ones…to head back to school and back to routine.  For me this means a little routine quiet!  Have you ever tried making a back pack?  My son has been using the same ikea one since 3 year old preschool (he’ll be going to first grade) and it’s barely showing signs of wear, except for a difficult zipper.  I wonder how handmade backpacks hold up?  These sure are adorable and worth a try!

I have made the Toddler Backpack by Rae Hoekstra (Made by Rae). It’s great. It’s also fully lined and soooo easy. My son uses it now and it fits his blanket, change of clothes and cot sheet for preschool.
