Well, actually, these are very pretty to me…

International Harvestor Pillow Panel
I grew up on a dairy farm with rolling pasture lands and fertile fields. My father had a very particular view on the “best” tractors.

Only the red ones were good enough for our farm ~ no green (John Deere) ~ only red! Don’t tell my Dad, but I’d take any ole’ tractor right now if it had a front end loader to help get rid of all this snow! OK, I realize for you non-farmers, I may sound like I am talking gibberish! I will refrain from questioning why the farmer is mowing his pasture with a windrow when it is evident that his cows are doing a fine job keeping it at a proper height.

Look! There is even a farm scene with Holstein cows just like we had
OK, I’m done for now, but you may see these fabrics again if I do a quilt out of them for my Dad for Father’s Day. Just one more personal thought and then I’ll go back to flowers and birds, and retro, and all the wonderful non~farm related fabric collections ~ my Daddy turned 90 yesterday and he is fit and strong and doesn’t look a day over 65! Happy Birthday Daddy!!

p.s. I am finding my personal stash on Ebay. If any retailer would like to share links it would be much appreciated

These fabrics would make a great “dad” quilt. Happy Birthday to your father.
wow. that is wonderful! They are definitely pretty fabrics! love the farm scene. happy birthday to your dad!
You are so lucky to still have your Dad. He will love something made of that awsome fabric. The green reigned on this farm when it was home to holstiens. Now that we raise alpacas here, we have a blue and orange Kabuto.
Where can I find these fabrics?
