fabric giveaway

This week’s fat quarter giveaway is a selection of Chicopee prints by Denyse Schmidt.

Chicopee Denyse Schmidt

Free Spirit Fabrics says:

Vibrant hues & patterns evocative of 1970’s Americana. Chicopee is inspired by her school years in Massachusetts & prodigious amounts of television. Shows – which influenced her formative fashion sense – include The Brady Bunch, Mary Tyler Moore & The Partridge Family. Chicopee will have you longing for back-to-school sewing, Levi’s cords, Earth shoes & that cute senior in his paisley shirt.

What I love about this fabric is that while it is nostalgic and vintage, it is also modern and updated.

Navy and turquoise blue combined with a pretty lemon yellow and antique white…this colorway is my favorite of the collection.

I want to thank you for all your responses to last week’s fabric giveaway! I loved learning what it is that makes you Hapi!

The winner of a fat quarter bundle of Amy Butler’s Hapi prints is:

Abby says:

What makes me HAPI- that my boys like to help me in my sewing room and always compliment my finished projects. (They are 2 and 5)

Congratulations Abby!  My son used to love to help me unpack fabric bolts when I had my shop.  Then he’d take photos of the bolts right along with me.  There’s just something about a son who wants to help with fabric projects!  Just send me a quick message to let me know where to send your fabric christie.fabricshopper [!at] gmail [dot] com

Thank you to everyone who participated!
