Everything stopped this week to put the finishing touches on my grand daughter’s costume. A favorite book of both my children, “Where the Wild Things Are”, … and now a favorite of the next generation, as well, was selected as the theme for this year’s costume.

Starting with a costume pattern for a toddler size 1 lion and converting it to a wolf with a crown, Max, was the mission. Her Momma (Tara of Scoutie Girl) has the whole photo shoot laid out in story book style on her blog. My son, Marty, was the photographer and had the fun job of laying on his back shooting while Tara and I ran her up and down the porch!

Hope you will pop over to see the adorable pictures “in many words~where the wild things are” by Tara of Scoutie Girl.

You know, a grandmother has to brag about her angel! ~rosie~
