Disclosure of Advertisers and Affiliates

The Fabric Shopper blog is a growing and time consuming project. Blog ads and referral programs help to offset the costs of blog upkeep and management, with the hopes of bringing you more relevant and helpful content and services.

Affiliate and referral links are used. If you click on a link and make any purchase, the Fabric Shopper may receive a portion of that purchase, at no extra cost to you.  Affiliate links will always be clearly identified.

Clicking and purchasing from regular sponsor ads or links in posts from them (fabric shops listed on the right sidebar) does not result in any compensation to The Fabric Shopper.

From time to time, I may be given books or products to review, and share what I love (or don’t) about them. All opinions are in no way influenced by the provider.

Compensation received will not falsely influence the content, topics or posts made in this blog.

Privacy Policy

Browsing, Reading, and Clicking – The Fabric Shopper has no way of tracking personal information when you browse posts or click links.  As with most blogs, general information in statistical format is provided, such as how many people have viewed specific posts, how often links were clicked, and search terms used.  However, none of these statistics contain any personal information.

Information Given for Commenting – The information collected for commenting purposes, such as name and email address is first and foremost collected in order to prevent spam and any non human responses.  Your email address may be used if the comments are used for a post containing a giveaway.  The only time The Fabric Shopper will share your email address is if you were selected as the winner of a giveaway.  The giveaway sponsor will be forwarded your email for contact purposes so that you can receive your prize.

Email Subscriptions – Information collected from email subscribers is used solely for my own purposes in analyzing the efficacy and interest in topics posted on The Fabric Shopper.  For instance, observing that subscribers are not clicking to specific types of articles allows me to reconsider content.  Conversely, if many subscribers are clicking to read certain posts, then I can provide more of what interests readers most.  Your email address and this information is not used for any purpose beyond this and is never shared with anyone.
